Project terms
These terms apply to websites, software, IT support, graphic design and branding projects. Your project proposal adds the details for your project and takes priority where the two differ.
Proposals and scope
Every project starts with a written proposal that confirms the scope, deliverables, timeline, responsibilities and costs. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it begins.
Your responsibilities
You provide the content, brand assets, access and feedback the project needs, on the dates agreed. Late information or approvals may change the timeline.
Payments
Payment terms, including any deposit and milestone payments, are set out in each proposal. We may pause work if an agreed payment is overdue.
Reviews and approval
The proposal states how many review rounds are included. Approving a milestone confirms that the work for that stage is complete.
Ownership
When the project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables created specifically for you. Fonts, plugins, stock images, hosting and other third-party components remain under their own licences.
Third-party services
Hosting, domains, payment gateways and similar services are provided and billed by their own providers under their terms. We are not responsible for their outages or changes.
Support and maintenance
Support, maintenance and updates after handover are provided only as agreed in writing.
Confidentiality
We keep your business information confidential and use it only for your project. We may show completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our liability for a project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
